Open Up

Keeping your feelings inside and not talking about traumatic experiences or stuff which you feel is too much to bear, will destroy you!

People react differently to situations/things they go through, bottling up feelings and not talking about what you're feeling is a coping mechanism to some people. A number of those people think they'll get judged or looked at differently after opening up, whilst others are scared that the person they open up to, will share the conversation.

Talking about what you're going through, in my opinion, is so important. It lifts the weight off your shoulders, especially if you're talking to the right person, what I mean by "the right person" is:
1. Someone who will give you the right kind     of advice.
2. Someone who will help you, check up on       you to see how you're coping.
3. Someone who cares about you.
4. Someone you know you can trust.

Since two heads are better than one, you might not see the solution to your problem(s) or the bigger picture. You might think there's no way you'll ever be able to process and move on from what you're going through. Old wounds won't heal if you dont talk it. Yes, you'll feel better at some point in your life, without talking about it. But just like the season's, your traumatic and emotionally scaring experiences will come back to haunt you, and you'll end up harming yourself or committing suicide.

If you're going through stuff, talk to someone, so that your mind and thoughts can be emptied, so that the hold your problem has on you can be broken.
Yes, it's hard but at the end of the day you'll get the help you need.
